Grace Baptist Church is a place where everyone matters! GBC involves members in Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Ministry, and Fellowship. GBC firmly believes in the value of life-changing Bible Study for all ages, within small groups where one feels wanted and involved. GBC offers several ministries to preschoolers and children: Bible Studies, Mission Education, Children’s Church and Music.
The heart of GBC is expressed in her mission statement. The GBC family sincerily wants to share Jesus and His Love with the people in our community and her track record proves it! GBC deeply believes in “Ministry Evangelism” and has been involved in those type of ministries for years. The “Trunks with Treats” ministry offers a safe alternative to traditional “trick or traeting,” with the church family extending love and acceptance of all guests who participate. The Elkhorn Baptist Association’s “Feed the Hungry” ministry distributes foor in GBC’s activities building. Along with participating in the “Feed the HUngry” ministry, the GBC family also stockpiles food to give out during the week. GBC has ongoing relationships of helping the Family Resource Centers of local elementary schools. One of Lexington’s men’s shelters, the HOPE Center uses our Activities Building for calsses and overflow sleeping space. In the recent past, GBC has offered a vital ministry through an after-school program to the children in her community.
